Aaah. A good day for music. Helped videotape the 30th anniversary reunion show of the legendary Chico jam band Spark 'N Cinder. They played for about four hours with maybe twenty different members from all across the country, and spanning the thirty years of the bands existence taking the stage at different points in the show. They played reggae, funk, rock, blues, salsa, etc., even a little hip-hop when the drummer/singer/bandleader's emcee son came on stage and rapped on mic. Way good to say the least. Way, way good. Wow. Yes. That was a hell of a concert. Bass guitar, slide guitar, electric guitar, saxophone, trumpet, drums, congas, organ, thumb piano, harmonica, vocals, blur of sounds and images. Some catchy tunes. That thumb piano dude was off the hook. No joke.

Hmmm, I'm gonna say this rambling is all an attempt to make up for the lack of content in the actual post. Apologies. In other news, I just won a free dinner by naming a song on a call-in to a community radio show at....2am. Hmmm. A good day for music. Actually, its tomorrow already. So... a good weekend for music.
