How very cool

Another one of those bbc articles that makes you go:

Heh... :)

I especially like where "the parrot also made smooching sounds whenever the name Gary was said on TV". How cute.

Heh. . . :)

Feel sorry for the guy though - it's bad enough to find out your girlfriend's cheating and lose your pet parrot without having some reporter post news of it on the Internet for hordes of gawking teenagers to read.

That's pretty much awesome. On a completely unrelated note, I would like to state for the record that the description of us hating squirrels is in fact inaccurate, as I am actually quite fond of them.

I seem to recall several of us being freaked out by the squirrels in Ann Arbor. Or maybe it was just Adam.

Anyway, feel free to change it.

at least there aren't any red squirrels in ann arbor. Those things are frickin freaky! So little, so purely mean.

In DC they have black squirrels. I don't know that they're particularly mean though - just shy. Ann Arbor squirrels are definitely freaky, but I don't think we dislike them either.

I've had squirrels leap on me, too, especially that one that came out of a trashcan when I tried to throw something away in the 8th grade. But I still like them.
Oh, and the black squirrels in DC are vicious, if you ever find the ones that aren't shy. They're a special kind of mean.

there are black squirrels in Holland, MI, too. I let in the winning goal in a soccer game vs. Holland Public because they distracted me. Little punks!

Violently is better than vehemently for unsettled. Although there's something pleasantly nonsensical, yet vaguely apt about "vehemently unsettled." :)

No, it's my fault. I keep on hitting the "Publish" button twice, so my comments go up two times and I have to delete one. Notice that the deleted comment was posted the exact same date and time as my comment above it.
